Eunamus – European National Museums: Identity Politics, the Uses of the Past and the European Citizen – is a three-year research project dedicated to the histories, actualizations and futures for European national museums.
The focus is on understanding the conditions for using the past in negotiations that recreate citizenship, and on the understanding of layers of territorial belonging.
Our research is funded under the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Commission. Research is conducted through multi-disciplinary collaboration between eight leading university institutions.
